Members were selected based upon their past contributions to RIH, as well as their ability to advise the committee on future actions. Our goal is to continue to improve the event each year, and the Advisory Board gives us a wealth of talent, knowledge and experience to draw upon. Advisory Board members are elected to a two-year term.

Founder and first chairman of Riding Into History, founder and long time president of Atlantic Beach Vintage Motorcycle Club. Former motorcycle dealer, restorer and nationally known artist who creates the ac-claimed artwork for the riding Into History posters. Quite likely the world's premier motorcycle mech-anic, he has been instru-mental in the world championships of legen-dary riders including Mike Hailwood and Kenny Roberts. Peter is one of America's best respected motor-sports writers. He is well known for his magazine work and his numerous books. His garage is usually filled with restoration projects. Producer and host of national car and motorcycle television programs, including Corbin's Ride On, My Classic Car and Trippin on Two Wheels. Owner and Publisher of American Iron Magazine and Road Bike. A long time vintage motorcycle enthusiast, collector and rider, Buzz is an AMA Hall of Famer.

Mert is a former Grand National Champion motorcycle racer, Motorcycle Hall of Fame member and starred with Steve McQueen and Malcolm Smith in the movie "On Any Sunday". Chairman of Riding Into History several times, as well as found-ing Chairman of RIH, Inc., he named both "Riding Into History" and "The Biker's Ball". A million mile rider and one of America's most prolific writers on motorcycling. Clem also has a Harvard degree two masters degrees and the Green Berets on his lenghty resume. As Director of Dealer Development for Vetter Fairings, Carol quickly established herself in the world of motor-cycling. She's a mom to 2 boys and a major contributor to RIH. Designer, entre-preneur, speaker, author and member of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Craig and his wife Carol have been key to the success of RIH. Retired airline pilot Jack Wells is one of America's most re-spected and honored vintage motorcycle collectors and a consistent supporter of RIH and the AMCA.
